Creative Futures

Windows of Opportunity

This year, our creative futures were each given a window in London's Selfridges for three weeks in which to ‘Express Themselves’. This is what they came up with.
A Practice for Everyday Life

The idea was to bring the countryside to Oxford Street. A Practice For Everyday Life identified a tendency for people in the city to fill their homes with pre-grown supermarket plants, or as they put it: ‘Scraps of GM nature to make people’s homes their own.’ Hence, the Urban Conservatory featuring 2D ‘plant/living products’ that people can use to spruce up their homes. Included are leaf stickers and creeping ivy tape which can be stuck over furniture. Saves both time and money - plus the things never die.
